I began in the mental health field in 1985. I have experienced a variety of practice settings such as adult and adolescent treatment, marital treatment and substance abuse treatment. The need for clients to consider the impact of other people from their lives, past and present, is an important consideration in obtaining mental health. I view accepting responsibility for any part the client has taken in creating their problem as very necessary to move forward. I am direct, yet compassionate in helping people to achieve goals. My first goal will be to understand why you have chosen to seek treatment.
