Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work in an array of practice areas, including gang prevention and intervention, adviser to an assemblyman around social service issues, residential mental health treatment for PTSD, and Outpatient Mental Health. I've served as an authority in the areas of diagnostic classification, ethical decision making, and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) Codes.
I currently work in an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. My primary responsibilities include mental health histories, brief psychotherapy, marital and family counseling, crisis intervention, supportive therapy, providing evidence-based psychotherapies and clinical case management. As a general mental health practitioner, I work with various diagnoses and co-morbid disorders. In addition, I've developed some sub-specialties, including Family and Marital Therapy, Education and Consultation, Depression and Anxiety, Severe Mental Illness, Trauma and PTSD, and LBGT issues.
