Tracy Davis

I believe that people intuitively know what they need to grow, change and heal. Often there are internal barriers, old stories, patterns or ways thinking that prevent us being able to make the changes that we want for our lives and our relationships. I use a highly collaborative and nuanced approach to meet the unique needs of each individual and family. Through a mutual process, we will begin to uncover the hope, insights, strengths, and skills needed to address the current challenges or difficulties impacting you, your child or family.

I treat a wide variety of presenting concerns. My areas of interest/ specialties: adoption issues, trauma, helping families to negotiate the developmental phase of adolescence, transition to adulthood (ages 18-26), issues pertinent to LGBTQI identified individuals and families, gender non-conforming children, issues of oppression/ working cross culturally.

I offer both short and long-term psychotherapy for adults, adolescents and children. My approach with children includes play therapy and sand tray therapy. My office is centrally located in Berkeley, easily accessible by BART, public transportation and multiple freeways.
